We recently made a set of custom decals for a fun DIY Christmas project for a preschool. The idea was adorable: the students’ profile silhouettes for the kids to take home to their parents. We knew decals would work great for this. The silhouettes were sent to us, and we put together the text and Christmas elements.
You can do this very easily at home, too.
The Christmas ornaments blanks were from Michaels. The boys got hats, and the girls got the baubles.
A project like this is a personal, fun, sweet, and simple DIY project anyone can do. What’s also great about these is that the child’s name is on the front, with Christmas on the back. This lets you can hang this up on your Christmas tree as an ornament, and then keep it around your house all year round.
*A few other materials we recommend for this (which you can see in these pictures) include a squeegee for burnishing the decal before you remove the transfer tape. We also recommend scissors, and a cup of your favorite winter beverage.
